Summary

Since 1995, Guy Lafontaine has been working on a series of photographs examining transitional zones on the border of residential and industrial districts, mainly in neighbourhoods on the outskirts of Montreal. With this photographic research, Lafontaine has built a documentary repertory and samples a cartography of contrasts that reveals the organized chaos between habitat and industry.
