In this article, the visually impaired author invites us to question the exceptional emphasis placed on the visual when discussing musical composers' sources of creative inspiration. Using his personal life as an example, he explores the richness of our world in non-visual beauty, be it in the form of sound or texture, and guides us through his creative process from experience toward creation. He elaborates on the process of putting his musical ideas on paper, discussing the technological tools he uses and various obstacles whose origin he traces to human-designed conditions that favour the constant use of vision in daily practices. Through his personal experiences and observations, he urges us to view lack of vision as a constructive actor in creative life, making the case for rethinking the real cause of his disability, and turning the very concept of disability on its head.

Le taux de chômage des personnes vivant avec une déficience visuelle (PDV) demeure préoccupant, malgré la mise en place de lois progressistes et d’actions diverses pour favoriser leur emploi. Les PDV éprouvent continuellement des difficultés d'intégration à l'emploi en raison de barrières dans le marché du travail et de l’inaccessibilité des lieux de travail. L'objectif de ce mémoire était de développer le contenu d'un outil de mesure qui pourrait évaluer l’état de préparation des milieux de travail pour accueillir des PDV. L’objectif a été atteint en deux temps. Premièrement, une synthèse de la littérature scientifique a permis de prendre la mesure des connaissances existantes et d’identifier les lacunes dans la recherche sur l'intégration à l'emploi. In this article, the author aims to analyze the notion of inclusion through the study of the museum institution. Reporting on the results of field surveys of French museums, the article proposes an analysis of museum devices in order to perceive their inclusive intentions. These results will lead to topics such as autonomy, gender diversity and stigma, necessarily related to the issue of inclusion. These inclusive museum devices are then confronted with the speeches of people with disabilities, to understand the real needs and desires of the individuals concerned. The article introduces the notion of an enabling environment, based on the consideration of capabilities (as understood and developed by Amartya Sen), as a response to inclusive injunctions, while guarding against the risk of homogenization and negation of the differences and specificities of each individuals.

Photovoice is a qualitative research method that produces community photographs and, in doing so, contributes to rebalancing power and offering participants greater creative freedom. In critical emancipatory research, this method has been used to understand the everyday accessibility experience of people or parents of children with disabilities who have guide dogs or assistance dogs. This article aims to describe how this method was adapted to promote authentic exchanges between the participatory group and the researcher, respecting their needs and addressing the social inequalities inherent in conventional research. It identifies the adaptations needed to make qualitative research accessible and inclusive, while valuing the voices of traditionally marginalised populations so that they feel comfortable and respected.
