This article analyzes the effects of the context of armed violence, marked by the Yemeni war, on the discourse of main political and religious actors in conflict, as well as on the structure of socio- political institutions. The state of war is seen as a context fostering the religious dynamic. The study shows that the consolidation of religious identities in Yemen and the escalation of this sectarian dynamic are the fruit of a double movement. On the one hand, Saudi Arabia tried to legitimize the war by sectarianizing it, and, on the other hand, Ansar Allah mobilized this moment to set up sectarian institutions through the government control, the creation of the High Political Council and their educational project.
