The purpose of this article is to review the existing scientific knowledge on Internet Gaming Disorder among young adults ranging from 18 to 30 years old. The phenomena's evolution, the many definitions of the concept, the role of massively multiplayer online role-playing games (MMORPG) and random reward mechanisms, known risk factors and consequences along with potential existing treatments are examined in the present review. Conclusions on the understanding of the disorder and its treatment are then drawn based on the current literature. Suggestions on where future research endeavors should be oriented are also made according to the drawn conclusions.

In France, the anglicization of advertisements is increasingly marked. This phenomenon is examined here. This is done from a perspective that comes under the heading of the Critical Management Studies - whose epistemological and pragmatic aims of denaturalizing practices are retained. It is shown that what is commonly held as obvious is not, and what is considered inevitable is also not. Our research provides four contributions: i) it points to the existence of a largely unnoticed resistance on the part of marketing practitioners - a problem of socio-cultural acceptance of the anglicization of commercial communication; ii) it analyses the grammars of criticism, the moral conventions diversely mobilized in the contestation; iii) it elucidates the moral emotions that animate this contestation at the deepest level; iv) it completes these analyses by examining the moral imagination (metaphorical representations) that organize it.

This knowledge synthesis provides an inventory of the uses of media and multimodal literacy in a digital context (LLM @) in French courses and language of instruction (L1-L2) in minority or majority environments, between 2015 and 2020. Our goal was to identify innovative uses in LMM@. We collected 192 documents matching our search criteria. From a corpus of 30 representative articles, the analysis revealed that the choice of keywords did not reflect the concepts or content of the studies, as well as a great disparity in the definitions associated with the LMM@. In addition, we have noticed a certain looseness in the definitions of central concepts, such as information skills and LMM skills. A more detailed analysis based on the TPACK framework of 14 studies, presented integrated practices in French teaching with transdisciplinary perspectives anchored in the daily cultural practices of youth from the 21st century.

The internationalization's process of emerging countries' multinational firms (EMNF) challenges the theoretical approaches in international business. This work aims to identify the specificities of EMNF's internationalization through the study of JBS, a Brazilian firm world leader in meat production. Based on internal company data and a collection of secondary information, we have traced around fifty acquisition operations in Brazil and abroad. Our results confirm that the EMNFs' internationalization process follows a specific trajectory compared to those revealed by last internationalization models (Born Global, Springbaord, Casino): strong financial dimension, acquisitions of subsidiaries of international groups, then used to acquire other firms, controlled geographical expansion and aimed at securing supply and distribution, and strong support from financial and political national institutions.

We present, in this article, a literature review of non-life insurance supply. We put the emphasis on the fact that insurers are financial intermediaries that reduce transaction costs in the economy by allowing the protection of agents against many risks and by financing all investment projects. As any risk taker, the insurer must always take into account of interrelationships between risks in its portfolio when offering different products. Insurance tarification must be coordinated with financial investments and participation in non-diversifiable risks must be coordinated with diversification of global risk. Many subjects are discussed, as financial insurance tarification, cycles, regulation, market structures, economics of scale, information problems between insurers and insureds, risk management and governmental participation.

The scale of the difficulties encountered by the Russian military in Ukraine since 2022 has taken international experts by surprise. They reflect its unpreparedness for a high-intensity war that had not been prioritized by the General Staff, as well as the flaws in the “new look reforms” carried out since 2008 in both the armed forces and the arms industry in a relatively unstable context. The fragmentation of the use of force on behalf of the Russian state between the regular army and other players –including the Wagner group– is just one sign of the corrosion caused by this ill-conceived and ill-calibrated military adventure. The Ukraine war, which has shaken the balance of the Putin regime, has also had an impact on the relationship between the government and the military, the latter benefiting from the distant support of a Russian population which has grown accustomed to thinking of itself as being attacked by the “collective West”.
