In the current context, it is important to use methodologies that facilitate the consultation of citizens concerned by specific issues. For this purpose, it is proposed to explore the community forum. This method was used in a Quebec study on support strategies intended for families living with a minor child with disabilities. In this article, the community forum will be described and various aspects of its organization will be explained. The advantages and the limitations of this type of citizens' consultation will also be discussed. The community forum is a valuable tool for the social worker, because it fulfills a triple function. It allows collecting quality information, it increases awareness of a social or health problem, and it stimulates a process of reflection on a specific issue. The community involvement being essential when seeking solutions to societal concerns, the community forum can be considered a tool of choice.

This article reports on the use of the WhatsApp social network in a context marked by the COVID-19 pandemic. In the face of the challenge of pedagogical continuity, it seeks to verify whether this application has ensured online teaching and learning during the closure of schools. The digital traces to be analyzed were collected from two WhatsApp groups, one from the Jean-Paul II International University, and the other from the Royal Baboutcha-Nintcheu University Institute, and semi-structured interviews were conducted with the participants. The content analysis that we applied to this data reveals WhatsApp as a remote learning device that facilitates the completion of educational tasks. Moreover, this health crisis reflects the organizational, structural and technological deficits that still characterize our universities; hence the urgency to rethink schools in the digital age.

The present study aims to understand the contribution of the WhatsApp application to the learning process of students in Burkina Faso and Senegal. Chat files from WhatsApp groups were analyzed and interviews conducted. The results show that this digital space promotes learning and academic success through information sharing, collaborative learning and the ability to learn and work remotely. The formal integration of this platform as a teaching aid tool could help establish active pedagogies in higher education in Africa.

The past decades have had a significant impact on libraries; important changes have threatened their existence or have forced them to rethink their role and function. In developed countries they have been able to ally digital resources with the more traditional library services and create new ones. A new type of librarian has seen the light of day and the diversity of his or her services has altered a longstanding identity. In Africa, and especially in Mali, change in libraries has not occurred in the same proportions. The country certainly relies on more and more newly-educated librarians but actual libraries are few and far between. Where they do exist, they are not equipped with information technologies that can support significant change. Several of the country's libraries are not organised according to recognised operating practices, such as an acquisitions budget. The coordination of libraries is also lacking. Given these conditions, the small changes that occur elsewhere do not happen in Mali. In spite of innovative services in very few libraries (digital libraries, Facebook accounts), could the priority not be placed on a territorial networking of libraries, creating conditions that are favourable to their proper functioning and to offer basic services to the population?

The main objective of the article is to show the links between the Far-right movements and the survivalist moral code. We will also show that the survivalist belief in the imminence of the end of our society has ties with Christian eschatology and Far-right fundamentalists. We will develop the thesis which supports that survivalism is a fiction based on a multitude of cognitives biaises: a form of extreme thought that desires the death of modern society in order to go back to an idealised natural state.
