The observation of the creative process of one of Europe's master directors, Krystian Lupa, and that of several young Polish directors who draw from his influence, such as Krzysztof Warlikowski, Michał Borczuch, Łukasz Twarkowski, and Oskar Sadowski, reveals a common yet unique phenomenon that could be termed the “overexposure of the intimate.” This phenomenon emerges at the very beginning of the collaborative creation process, during the initial meeting of the artistic team in the rehearsal room, and continues through to the performance, marking the work both in substance and form.

AbstractTraces of Saint-Denys Garneau's poem "Et maintenant", written circa 1938, can already be found in his private " épitexte " Journal and Lettres à ses amis. This poem can thus be read by way of such an " épi-texte " which contains a radical calling into question of the relation to writing in the text itself (vocabulary and syntax) and in its intertext (DesRochers, Kafka), outside of a strictly religious framework.

The article examines the presence of reflexive processes in the series Obscure Cities, in particular through a comparison between the two versions of the first album, Samaris. In these comic books, which already in their title give priority to urban spaces rather than to the adventures of characters, the spectacular exhibition of the world tends to prevail over the story. The author shows how Schuiten and Peeters' reflexive approach is not in contradiction with an emphasis on worldbuilding. Even if some motifs that intertwine text and image refer to characteristics of the language of comic books and are treated in such a way that they produce a discourse on the possibilities of the medium, immersion into the fiction is not attenuated; it is paradoxically reinforced by a subtle interplay between real world and the world of fiction, which gives the latter a fascinating power of absorption.
