It is widely acknowledged that the COVID-19 pandemic has necessitated the adoption of distance education to the extent that it has now become an accepted mode of teaching at all academic levels. As a result, “comodal” or “flexible” courses, where some students attend in‑person while others participate remotely, may offer a new instructional avenue for institutions. This article provides a systematic review of the literature to identify what we know about comodal teaching in higher education.

This research examines the proliferation of far-right discourse on social media, specifically in the French context, by analyzing the content produced by seven French far-right YouTubers in 55 videos. The study aims to understand how white supremacist messages are made more acceptable to the general public, despite legal and regulatory prohibitions on platforms. The analysis reveals that the essentialization of individuals' gender creates conditions for the essentialization of race, leading to a mutual reinforcement between masculinism and supremacism which allows for a more acceptable framing of the white supremacist message. The study also identifies phenomena such as ideological and rhetorical borrowings inspired by Alain de Benoist's metapolitics. The article contributes to a better characterization of specific aspects of online far-right discourse in the French context.

This research aims to gain an in-depth understanding of the phenomenon of appropriation of a managerial innovation (MI): the mindfulness at work. To this end, a longitudinal case study over six years was conducted within the French subsidiary of an international group. The results reveal firstly that the “philosophy” component at the heart of the MI, although crucial, fluctuates during the appropriation process, underlining the importance of “practices” to ensure its materiality. The results also highlight the significant influence of socio-political logic in the appropriation of a MI, but above all the dialectic between individual and collective appropriation throughout the process. The multidimensional and processual used considerably enriches our understanding of the appropriation process.

Background: Pregnant people have been noting a sense of loss of control in their prenatal care for several decades. This sense of control, also known as empowerment, should be encouraged, and it has been associated with better health outcomes. In view of these potential benefits, we set out to analyze the perceptions of empowerment held by pregnant people and their healthcare providers in Quebec, to identify the factors that enable and hinder this process. Methodology: Semi-structured individual interviews were conducted with seven pregnant women and two midwives, followed by a thematic analysis of the verbatims obtained. Results: Facilitating and hindering factors affecting both the care relationship with healthcare providers and the personal characteristics of pregnant people were identified and detailed. Tools and solutions to support empowerment were also shared. Conclusion: A desire to acquire more power was noted by the participants. In order to meet this need, measures and adjustments could be implemented both in the care relationship and in the dynamics of the healthcare system, or in the training of healthcare providers to support patient empowerment.

People-centred health care recognizes patients as subjects of rights, while the principle of continuity of care is related to longitudinality, establishing a long-term therapeutic relationship throughout the individual life cycle. These principles of the comprehensive care model in Chile pose ethical challenges to primary health care teams. The purpose of this article is to describe and analyze the main ethical conflicts deliberated by a primary care clinical ethics committee, differentiated by life cycle. A qualitative methodology was used, with a case study approach reviewing 30 of the 70 queries received by the committee over a period of seven years. The results show that ethical conflicts during adolescence and in the care of elderly people generate greater difficulties for the health team. The main conclusions are related to the responsibility of addressing them appropriately, and for contributing to comprehensive care plans that always consider the ethical aspects of care.

Climate change is having a significant impact on people's well-being, and in particular on mental health, as shown by studies on solastalgia and eco-anxiety. These changes also influence reproductive intentions. Based on a review of the scientific literature, this article first presents the main issues surrounding climate change and the choice of natalist or anti-natalist strategies. Secondly, a corpus of French-language press related to these concerns, collected on the basis of key words, has been analyzed to identify the main media representations. It highlights the use of scientific sources dealing with climate change and eco-anxiety, and the arguments evoked to justify reproductive choices. These arguments are based on ecological motivations (climate change, overpopulation, overconsumption and carbon footprint), concerns about the future living conditions of children, and the ethical dilemmas that ensue. Conversely, pronatalist perspectives are also presented, with the child seen as a catalyst for change and a source of inspiration and motivation for parents engaged in the fight for a better environment.
