Investment appeal remains a major concern for policymakers and economic stakeholders, as it influences the economic, social, and environmental aspects of a territory. Territorial offerings constitute the fundamental mainstay of this appeal. However, in a context marked by emerging territorial challenges, these offerings need to be rethought. The question of how all the territorial actors can collabo-rate to co-create a diversified and integrated territorial offering remains complex and relatively unexplored. This research seeks to address this shortcoming by proposing a theoretical reframing and a conceptual model to better understand the mechanisms of co-creation of territorial offerings and their impact on investment appeal. Based on a systematic literature review, this study clarifies the concept and advances the academic discussion around this fundamental component of territorial marketing. It also provides guidance on the key variables of territorial offerings.

This exploratory study analyzes the advocacy practices and outputs of three national associations representing libraries and organizations of various types: the Canadian Association of Research Libraries (CARL) / Association des bibliothèques de recherche du Canada (ABRC), the Canadian Urban Libraries Council (CULC) / Conseil des bibliothèques urbaines du Canada (CBUC), and the Canadian Federation of Library Associations (CFLA) / Fédération canadienne des associations de bibliothèques (FCAB). Data was collected from a variety of sources, including the associations’ websites, records of federal government consultations and lobbying activities. A thematic analysis was conducted using open coding and visual theme mapping, and the results analyzed using Schein’s model for understanding organizational culture. The results provide important insights into publicly available advocacy work by these associations since 2016. By providing the first step of examining advocacy work by Canadian library associations, this study lays the groundwork for further investigation to explore the impact of library association advocacy and to identify successful patterns and strategies for advocacy initiatives in the future.

In the digital revolution era, the role of teachers in utilizing ICT-based learning resources in schools has become very important. However, the utilization of ICT that is not optimal has been identified, which often occurs in some schools in developing countries, possibly because of factors such as human resources readiness, facilities, and regulations inherent in each educational institution. This research aims to describe teachers’ perspectives on ICT learning resources that have been used for the learning process. This research is a qualitative study with a case study type, involving a sample of 7 teachers at the high school level in Central Java and West Java. Data collection techniques include semi-structured interviews, followed by an interview guide as the data collection instrument. As for an interview, it was analyzed thematically to describe an overview of the issues commonly raised by teachers during the data collection process.  The research results show that there are 3 themes that are often the main topics of discussion, namely motivation and readiness of teachers in utilizing ICT-based learning resources, teachers’ perspectives and resource support the implementation of ICT-based learning resources, and the challenges that teachers face when implementing ICT-based learning in the classroom. The results of this research have the potential to assist in the professional development of teachers in integrating ICT to embrace dynamic and innovative learning in the digital era.

This article is a case study that addresses challenges archivists and introductory composition instructors can experience when working to embed archival and primary source literacy into a course and models how to successfully overcome related obstacles. Building on the excellent work of James Roussain, it employs the archivist-as-educator model not only to teach the students but also to train the disciplinary instructor. Teaching instructors archival and primary source literacy and training them how to teach these types of literacy enhances student success. Acknowledging the literature that discusses the ineffectiveness of one-shot guest lectures, the authors have designed and piloted an archival and primary source literacy toolkit that provides a scalable and effective model for embedding a module and assignment into an introductory composition course at a large research university. The inquiry-based active-learning activities in the toolkit are scaffolded to prepare students for the assignment. Furthermore, the toolkit provides guidance on how instructors and archivists can collaboratively develop the skills they need to successfully embed the module into introductory composition courses.

This article explores the importance of transferring both tacit and explicit knowledge between traditional farmers, researchers and smart greenhouse operators within the rapidly evolving context of urban agriculture. Given the rapid pace of technological advancement, the use of knowledge life cycle mapping is essential to optimize practices in smart greenhouses. Limited space and real-time controlled growing conditions require tools to effectively organize and share critical information. Adapting traditional expertise in soil management, plant disease treatment and plant growth cycles to controlled environments maximizes productivity. This article presents various knowledge transfer models that aim to strengthen the connections between smart greenhouses and research institutions. This network promotes the integration of advanced technologies, including sensors and artificial intelligence, to develop sustainable and robust agricultural systems that are adapted to climatic realities, particularly in northern environments.

Have digital technologies become the new horizon of the sacred? The flood of new technologies and their rapid incorporation into the ordinary practices of citizens in hypermodern societies leaves little doubt that a genuine cultural (if not anthropological) revolution is taking place, concomitant with the growing and massive digitalization of today’s world. These new technologies, and the diverse forms and impacts they assume, partake on a global movement affecting the world of religions, that appear increasingly "technologized". In a parallel movement, technologies are becoming subjected to an unexpected process of sacralization, in a context of advanced secularization (at least in countries with a high level of industrial advancement). Contemporary technologies (the Internet, AI and robots) are experiencing profound metamorphoses in the realm of beliefs - and, to a certain extent, they generate them. Drawing on specific examples, this paper will expose some key elements to prolong the discussion on the relationship between belief and technology in the present day.

As teacher education can help communities transition to sustainable, just ways of being, this study reports on the development of, and research on, a national E-course for preservice teachers focused on Environmental and Sustainability Education (ESE). This collaborative initiative brought together academics, community educators, and K-12 teachers to offer participatory, locally-relevant online ESE learning. By facilitating learning centred on concepts of indigenization, ecojustice, and place-based learning, the E-course aimed to ensure equitable access to ESE for preservice teachers across Canada. We ask, what are participants’ experiences and the impact of their involvement in this E-course? Using a socio-critical lens, the authors draw on survey data to report on the outcomes of the E-course. We hope that it may serve as a new model for online ESE for preservice teacher education, and more broadly highlight the capacity for building understanding about ecojustice education and community connections through virtual learning spaces.

Research on educational technology (EdTech) integration has extensively explored determinants; however, strategies remain underexamined. Existing models predominantly focus on identifying the determinants of technology adoption yet fail to offer systemic frameworks for sustainable EdTech integration. This study bridges that gap by investigating strategies proposed by stakeholders in a college of teacher education, culminating in a theoretical framework. The research was conducted across four Ethiopian colleges of teacher education by employing a constructivist grounded theory. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and document analysis, involving 23 participants selected through purposive and theoretical sampling. Data analysis was performed using MAXQDA (Version 2020) software. The results revealed six key strategies categorized into teacher-related, institution-related, and organization-related. A co-constructed theoretical framework illustrates the roles of various stakeholders in EdTech integration, underpinned by ecological systems theory, diffusion of innovations, and the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology. Credibility was ensured through a member-checking survey. The study advocates for further quantitative research to evaluate the correlation between strategies and educational technology integration outcomes, with replication across diverse contexts and stakeholders.

This article explores the ongoing issue of bodily security, surveillance, and safety in and around South Korean digital spaces. By focusing on the Nth Room in March 2020, I argue that the rapid growth of digital and cloud-based technologies exacerbates social and political issues in Korea. I use an interdisciplinary methodological approach to critical gender and sexuality studies, data feminism, and Korean feminist scholarship to interrogate the relationship between transnational digital technologies, the deep-seated roots of patriarchy, and the contemporary anti-feminist backlash and conservative political landscape in South Korea. I argue that the cloud-based servers of instant messaging group chats pose a particular case that illustrates the challenges feminist activists face around digital sex crimes and surveillance in South Korea and transnationally.
