The analysis of consumer spatial decision- making and choice processes: theory, methods, and examples of applications. — Retail geographers are increasingly attracted by the behavioral approach. Its focus is on the study of decision- making and choice processes of consumers and retailers in space. The conceptualization of processes is crucial for the sound understanding of a retail system. This paper aims at familiarizing the reader with this literature which is mainly in English. The concepts, methods and results of the study of consumer decision- making and choice processes are presented and discussed. Spatial cognition, preference formation, and choice behavior are among the topics reviewed. All major contributions are discussed, dealing either with simple shopping decisions or complex decisions implying trip-chaining behavior.

Les études sur les fanfictions reconnaissent leur potentiel "en tant qu'outil de critique sociale" en raison d'une "explosion de la littérature postcoloniale et ethnique américaine" incluant la revision des textes canoniques occidentaux tels que La Tempête de Shakespeare et Jane Eyre de Charlotte Brontë, modifiés pour inclure les divers impacts du colonialisme et du racisme (Derecho 69). Cependant, la réception critique positive a surtout été attribuée aux fanfics publiées: les fanfics en ligne sont peu considérés malgré le fait qu'elles remplissent la même fonction et donnent une voix aux communautés marginalisées qui sont absentes ou grossièrement dépeintes dans les textes canoniques. This article briefly gives the results of a comparative study about the suicide rates of elderly people, according to countries, ages and sex. In our effort to understand the social meaning of these figures, we are inspired by Émile Durkheim's thesis, according to which the phenomenon of the suicide is connected to the capacity of a society to integrate certain groups, as the elder. Finally, we investigate how exclusion or rather incapacity of integration of elder is susceptible to lead to suicidal behavior. In end, we shall suggest a respectful and discreet accompanying of the elder in their choices.
