A diagnostic evaluation was used for the conception of the Cité des Enfants. The proposed procedures and the displayed ideas were chosen according to the abilities of the young public. Numerous prototypes have been created, not only for technical matters, but also to improve communication, to avoid any barrier to understan- ding and to adapt the written messages to the public. The conceptors hâve now completely integrated this process into their practise.

Trade marks or « châteaux » which trade in Bordeaux in the years 2000 ? If the Bordeaux vineyards are again an object of curiosity for geographers, trade is much less so, though trade practices are ceaselessly being modified. One might think that, in front of the increasing power of the concept of wine-growing chateaux, and against the offensive of newcomers on the wine business, the Bordeaux trade undergoes changes more than it brings them about, even that it is in a crisis. But this would be a superficial look. If lots of estates were in serious trouble, many others are performing well and dynamic. In fact the very wine merchant trade is undergoing a complete reform. Progressively a more and more voluntarist trade makes its voice be heard, and its options be shared. In future the later might make this trade not only a better tool for conquering new markets for all the Bordeaux wine business, but also a direct actor in the heart of the Bordeaux vineyards.

One hundred and seventy-four college students completed a French-language version of the Student Adaptation to College Questionnaire (SACQ-F) at the beginning of their second semester. In order to assess its test-retest reliability, the SACQ-F was administered again two weeks later to 26 of the 174 students. Academic records and data from two other measures of emotional, academic, and social dispositions were collected at the end of high school and during the first year in college to assess the SACQ-F construct validity. The findings support the reliability and validity qualities of the SACQ-F. The means of the present sample, as well as the sex differences, were equivalent to those presented in the American studies. These results suggest that the French version of the SACQ is a valid and reliable measure of the adjustment of French-speaking college populations.

An analysis of environmental DNA (eDNA) was used to document the fish community in the watershed managed by the Organisme de bassin versant de la zone du Chêne and in the Forêt de la Seigneurie de Lotbinière (FSL) (Québec, Canada). The main goal was to document species diversity and relative abundance at different sites within the FSL and in the adjacent agroforestry landscape, and to compare the species richness detected by eDNA with that obtained during previous traditional inventories. Forty-one species of fish were detected, including 2 species sought after by anglers, the brook charr (Salvelinus fontinalis) and smallmouth bass (Micropterus dolomieu), and 2 species of particular conservation interest, the channel darter (Percina copelandi) and cutlip minnow (Exoglossum maxillingua). Four species were new records for the watershed. When fish do not need to be caught, eDNA sampling offers a highly effective and much less invasive means of obtaining a detailed picture of the species present. Furthermore, it requires a lower sampling effort than traditional survey techniques.

This article proposes an analysis of pedagogical practices outside the classroom, as they are deployed in the so-called extracurricular times organized within the framework of the latest reform of school rhythms (2013-2018) in France. It is a question of mobilizing the tools of sociology of pedagogy and curriculum to apprehend a field of educational action that has long remained a blind spot in educational analysis. We will show that a singular and hybrid educational grammar are deployed on the periphery of the school, with an expressive and capacity-building content that reflects the development of a logic of individual empowerment, which we suggest is the result of the encounter between the fields of animation (popular education) and school.
