Among the twenty of original neolithic engravings discovered these last years in Morbihan, the stelae of Men-Bronzo in Locmariaquer and Vieux-Moulin in Plouhamel offer a good example of the great diversity of symbols, and the renewed evidence of the importance of the stelae in comparison with regional tombs that habitually preserve these carvings. This article insists on technical process for the acquisition of image and on the graphic restoration of the standing stones.

This text is part of a critical perspective where, in light of various developments and changes, the time seems right to call for a re-examination or renewal of human resource management (Delbridge and Keenoy, 2010; Hallée, Taskin and Vincent, 2018). Critical Human Resource Management is a posture that questions the dominant managerial discourse and values the voices excluded from HRM thinking (Delbridge and Keenoy, 2010). These concerns are linked to a tradition of humanist critique, including social injustice and questioning the social and economic systems that companies serve and reproduce (Adler, Forbes and Willmott, 2007). Issues of gender, inequality, governance, power and domination are also part of the questioning (ibid., Lee Ashcraft, 2009).

This research is devoted to the analysis, from an aesthetic perspective, of a type of mechanism that emerged during the Covid-19 pandemic: “operatic video clips”. Their emergence was the result both of institutional strategies and of individual artists' initiatives, aimed at making artistic practice possible during confinement. We will begin by analyzing this phenomenon from a global perspective, and then focus on a project carried out by the Instituto Superior de Arte del Teatro Colón (isatc): CasasdeÔpera (“Opera Houses”). Our aim is to show how, in the context of the pandemic, the video clip established itself as a means of renewing and disseminating the operatic genre, as well as transmitting social messages adapted to the situation. Based on our case study, we intend to demonstrate how these mechanisms emerged as a result of the context's specific material and socio-cultural circumstances, as well as the socio-political implications to which they were subjected.

At the crossroads of cultural sociology, musicology and fan studies, this article investigates opera fan communities in the digital age. This research, carried out between 2019 and 2023, employs a qualitative and comparative methodology combining digital ethnography with on-site participant observation in opera houses. The main case studies are the Teatro alla Scala in Milan and the Metropolitan Opera in New York.

Hits for HIIT is an innovative project developed by two musicologists who are also active athletes. It offers original music compositions specifically designed for High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT). Music plays a crucial role in enhancing performance during HIIT by boosting motivation and creating positive emotional states. While most studies on the relationship between music and sports stem from sport psychology, this project proposes a musicological approach to better understand and design music adapted to the various phases of HIIT sessions. The research integrates rhythmic, melodic, harmonic, and technological parameters to produce tailor-made tracks that evolve progressively and support the physical and emotional rhythm of the workout. Hits for HIIT also aims to fill a gap in the current music offer for athletic training by producing stylistic pastiches that can be used freely, with built-in sound signals marking activity and rest intervals. Ultimately, the project combines music creation, athlete feedback, and perceptual analysis to optimize training experiences through music.

This article focuses on the semantic convergence between the discourse of a neoconservative columnist in mainstream media—Mathieu Bock-Côté (MBC), in his columns for the Journal de Montréal—and the rhetoric of three populist identity groups, marginalized by the traditional media: La Meute, the Fédération des Québécois de souche, and Horizon Québec Actuel. Their respective speeches during two public controversies between 2017 and 2020 are analyzed: the Commission on Systemic Racism and Bill 21 (Act respecting the laicity of the State). By observing the transversality of certain framings and discursive mechanisms within the speeches of MBC and the three populist groups, the article brings out a certain ideological convergence of populist and conspiratorial types, notably characterized by a mythification of national identity, a demonization of diverse/multiculturalist elites and “radical Islamism,” and by polarizing and victimizing framings. However, the speeches of MBC, far from being marginalized, are deployed in all legitimacy in the Journal de Montréal, a mainstream media with 3.5 million readers, as well as on television and radio, in Quebec as in France. They thus contribute to demarginalizing populism and the conspiratorial imagination in mainstream media.

The aim of this study is to compare inappropriate attitude and eating behaviors (IAEB) and psychosocial characteristics - physical social anxiety, physical self-perceptions, perceived pressure to be thin - between two levels of sport practice (intensive and recreational). A set of questionnaires was completed by 146 French adolescents. Results indicate that compared to recreational athletes, those training at an intensive level are more likely to resort to IAEB. Moreover, elite athletes also suffer more from body dissatisfaction and social physical anxiety, are less satisfied with their physical appearance, and are feeling more pressure to be thinner.

The aim of this article is to review the available qualitative and quantitative literature on family caregiving experience in eating disorders. Analysis of the 26 selected studies highlights three major themes: the subjective caregiving experience, illness perception, and perception of help provided and of professionals involved. The qualitative and quantitative studies both view the caregiving role as difficult and as having important emotional consequences. Results of the review are discussed and followed by clinical application suggestions. Finally, some areas for future research are presented.

Air pollution is a major environmental nuisance in West African cities. Rapid urbanization with uncontrolled sprawl and an increase in cars within the city contribute to increasing air pollution levels. This study aims to meet two main objectives: identify the environmental characteristics that significantly influence the nitrogen dioxide and particulate matter concentrations and produce maps predicting the concentration levels of these pollutants for the entire road network of Abidjan. Extensive data collection was carried out with bicycles equipped with mobile sensors in December 2021 (920 kilometers and 71 hours). The results of the generalized additive models demonstrate the very important role of the road environment: the concentrations of the three pollutants are systematically higher on highways, primary, secondary and tertiary roads compared to residential streets. The prediction maps show very different spatial patterns for nitrogen dioxide versus particulate matter.

Following a request from Médecins du Monde, we conducted a participatory research to better understand the reality of caregivers providing care to migrants with precarious status (PMSP)1. Caregivers were interviewed in focus groups (n = 12) and in-depth interviews (n = 8) to explore the specificities of their practice and the impact on their mental health. Their comments were analysed from a critical phenomenological perspective, which revealed: 1) the challenges of this practice in light of the institutional and political constraints in place; 2) the psychological consequences of contact with the distress of PMSP. Our results are analysed in light of the influence of structural determinants of health affecting the daily reality of PMSPs and, by extension, that of caregivers working with this population. This article contributes to the French-language literature on public health by exploring the challenges associated with qualitative research among marginalised populations subject to social inequalities.
