Développement et validation d'un instrument de mesure de la qualité dans les entreprises tunisiennes
More informationThe aim of this article is to develop and validate an instrument for measuring quality. From a review of the literature in the field of quality management, ten quality management practices were identified. An instrument measuring these practices was developed. Data were obtained from a survey of 133 Tunisian companies. Based on confirmatory factor analysis, seven quality management practices were retained and the reliability and validity of the instrument were tested and validated.

Through historical elements from the field of men studies, and on the basis of the researches the author has been carrying out for ten years, the article examines the problematics and methodological framework that enable us to carry out studies in mixed teams of women and men, while investigating the androcentrism of sociology and sociologists themselves. In the first part, the often intricate processes through which profeminist research work has emerged in France are analysed. Then, looking at the frequent asymmetry of the subjects treated by profeminist men and feminist (women) sociologists, and considering the current issues in the field under construction of social relations between men and women, the article proposes a discussion on methodology. More accurately, through the example of a recent study on partner-swapping, the author, who claims antisexist principles, explains the concrete difficulties he had in fieldwork to break with androcentrism, and to accept, validate and eventually integrate the experiences and critical analyses of his feminist women colleagues. In conclusion, the article examines the methodological tools and principles that would enable us to set up debates taking into account the problematics of social relations between women and men in research teams.

The redefinition of national models for regulating the telecommunication sector, occu- ring since the 1980s, is characterized by sharp differences in processes and forms - despite considerable convergence on a number of points. An understanding of these differences calls for an analysis of the dual process of deconstrucion of the traditional public service model, and social reconstruction of a new model. Such an analysis reveals, behind the apparent similarities of institutional systems based on a public service monopoly, the true diversity in the conception and implementation of this model. It also becomes clear that the insertion of sector-based problematics in a social debate and a political game (whose rules and contents are marked by cultures, political and economic histories and singular contexts), informs the renegotiation of the compromise and its contents. The comparative approach adopted here enables us to grasp the weight of the politics and specific forms of political regulation peculiar to each country in the definition of institutional conditions and in the different paths of sector-based regulation.

In this article the author provides a critical synthesis of two prevalent approaches in the sociology of technology: the translation approach and that of the diffusion of innovation. In particular, he focuses on two distinct but complementary conceptions of the notion of socio-technological networks. By highlighting the respective shortcomings of these two approaches in relation to current developments in communication technologies, he suggests shifting the semiotic trend by means of the notion of « affordance » (regarding translation) and envisaging in more detail the interface between networks for the diffusion of innovation and those for its development (regarding diffusion). Finally, the brief case study of the « mouse buttons » enables him to show concretely how such a change in our explanatory perceptions might be methodologically translated.
