This article focuses on Working Papers ending the Training program used in social work and outlines the first empirical data and the first analyses of an exploratory research carried out in 2018 on the writing processes concerning the Specialized Educators' (SE) end-training assessments. These reports are produced by the trainers overseing the students in their pathway, included in a device of professionnalization designed inside the IRTS (Institut Régional du Travail Social, e.g. Regional Institute of Social Work) at Montpellier (France). First we describe the socio-historical context where this research takes place, into set more precisely the Training program applied. Afterwards we detail Discourse-Based analyses of a sample of working papers in terms of discursive categorizations practiced in the profession.

In this article, I question the relationship between corpus linguistics and the kind of research objects that a computer-based linguistics deals with. I try to show that using software to carry out linguistic investigations in ü uences the kind of objects linguists are studying. Computers help to grab forms, so linguists tend to take forms as a point of departure and investigate their meaning(s). Another orientation exists, from meaning to the expressions that express this given meaning, and it may also use software tools. In this case, in order to limit subjectivity, I propose to adopt a methodology which combines a measure of judgments about the collected data and in-corpus annotation of the phenomena under study.

The current study investigates the pattern of beliefs of 76 preservice teachers about assessment as they start their first assessment course at the university and examines the evolution of their beliefs through the course. The results showed that the preservice teachers hold initial beliefs more in line with alternative assessment than traditional assessment. At the end of the course, their beliefs remained stable. Suggestions for action to promote the development of assessment skills among preservice teachers are proposed to instructors.

Frontiers, political Systems and Fertility in Europe. This article examines the question of impact of political systems on regional levels of fertility in Europe. After they have defined the general context of the political systems' spatial effects, the authors present different tools which may be able to give an account of statistical and spatial homogeneization of demograhical behaviours in States or supranational groups. In the case of fertility in Europe, the analysis reveals strong interdependencies between regional or local behaviours and the adherence to political systems. The interpretation of these interdependencies is based on three families of assumptions connected with political systems organization.

Mass subcultures and new technologies. The development of mass cultural technologies has considerably shifted the frontiers of cultural practices since the last twenty years. Faced with the emergence of new organisations, the dialogue between a logic of "free of charge" and profitability has come up from the point of view of techno capitalism and counter cultural musical movements as well. These trends (hip hop and techno) have structured free, collective productions and mass marketing but the integration of these subcultures turns out to be differentiated as regards the status of the new economy.

Two studies were conducted to examine the work experience of people with disabilities. The purpose of the first study was to understand the perceptions that people with disabilities have of the labour market. The people with disabilities (N = 28), who participated in semi-directed interviews were all seeking employment. The analysis revealed how people with disabilities conceive of access to employment. At a second stage, interviews were conducted among participants with a visual impairment who were employed (N = 6). These employees discussed the meaning attributed to their experience in the labour market. Results will be addressed in light of various social movements that have contributed to the evolution of the right to work that is held by people with disabilities in Canada.

Using Q methodology, we propose in this article to identify groups of viewpoints on specific aspects of well-being at work among beginning teachers. First, 11 participants ranked 43 statements on an answer sheet referring to aspects of their practice and work environment that could influence their well-being. Then, rankings were analyzed using PQMethod software. According to the results, during the first three years of teaching, teachers' well-being at work is more significantly influenced by events that take place in the classroom. After this period, the relationships with colleagues seem to contribute to their well-being at work.

Among the creators who target a young readership and who practice humor in comics, we have chosen to study the case of Jacques Goldstyn. Through his abundant universe, we limit our remarks to his Van l'inventeur series. We chose this series because it covers two decades and because its five volumes present a certain uniformity. Our objective for this article is to identify the most frequent humorous devices in the Van l'inventeur comic series by Jacques Goldstyn. In order to achieve this objective, we consider it relevant to paint a portrait of the author-illustrator to better understand his humorous universe. Then, we overview the concept of the attractions of the book (Saricks 2005; 2009), because the humorous devices useful to our subject are directly linked to it. Then, we present our methodology where a grid of different humorous processes (Montésinos-Gelet, DeRoy-Ringuette and Dupin de Saint-André, 2021) is used in order to draw up a quantitative portrait of their use. Our results regarding the boards of the Van l'inventeur series are then presented.
