In recent years, with the increasing arrival of refugees in Quebec, numerous schools have been endeavoring to facilitate the reception of these students who have lived in adverse conditions. This article presents the results of an action research conducted with young Syrian refugee students and tends to highlight the relevance of a framed activity allowing freedom of expression (discussion groups) in class in the development of the students' psychological well-being. The thematic analysis of the data generated by the discussion groups conducted in five reception classes allows us to highlight that the activity made possible the elaboration of grief and traumas and contributed to the development of the students' psychological well-being.

This qualitative study constitutes the empirical component of a project on the informational behaviour of members of the Union des écrivaines et des écrivains québécois (UNEQ), a writers' union located in Montreal, Quebec. Using a theoretical framework inspired by Pierre Bourdieu's work in the literary field, also found in literature on the topic, the study describes the practices of writers in terms of their needs, research, use and dissemination of information by bringing together data gathered via a survey, an analysis of online contents, and interviews. The results show that the advantages and disadvantages of digital media sometimes create a sense of incoherence among the resources used and the online dissemination of information. Furthermore, it suggests that the relationship with information professionals could be reconfigured at the creation of the text stage, with regards to the organisation of the digital paratext, and in order for the online tools available to writers to be understood. That being said, this relationship would need to be part of a larger change in the field, since the current perceptions of legitimation continue to follow the traditional paths of the illusio.

By its sudden unprecedented nature and the collapse of traditional reference work points, the COVID-19 pandemic corresponds to a situation “vu jàdé”, the opposite of “déjà vu”. Some organizations, forced to operate remotely during periods of sanitary confinement, have been able to resist, or even reinvent themselves. Taking Karl Weick's “sensemaking” theory as a conceptual framework, this article aims to explore the human and organizational capacities in the deployment of remote work on a global scale during and after the COVID-19 health crisis. For this research, nine semi-structured interviews were conducted with employees working remotely, focusing on their daily work practices in connection with spatial arrangements, temporalities, communication practices with digital tools, and collaboration with other members of the organization. The four sources of organizational resilience proposed by Weick (improvisation and bricolage, virtual role systems, an attitude of wisdom, and respectful interaction) allowed us to draw some insights on how individuals demonstrated resilience through their daily work practices during this period, which we qualify as “resilience practices”. The main contribution of this research is to render Weick's conceptual framework operational in a remote context.

We conduct a laboratory experiment to test three regulations imposed on a common-pool resource game : an access fee and subsidy system, transferable quotas , and non-transferable quotas. Theory predicts that they all reduce resource use from free access to the same target level without hurting users. We find that, on average, the regulator’s target is less likely to be met with fees than with the other regulation tools. The fee system tends to select the most efficient users more consistently, but leads to more inequality. All regulations fail to make every user better off, although the two market-based instruments outperform the non-transferable quotas on this criterion.

Agricultural, equilibrium models and WTO - For years, computable general equilibrium models have been extensively used for the promotion of the free trade ideology in international audiences and trade negotiations. Yet, presently, they totally ignore risk and mainly dynamic considerations. Thus, the strength of their conclusions can be challenged. After an overview of the models which have been in operation recently, the paper presents alternative specifications. They would explicitly incorporate risk and dynamics into the analysis, while keeping the multi- sectoral approach and market clearing conditions which constitutes the comparative advantage of these tools. Very different results are expected.

As computer graphics are now replacing storyboards as a key preparation tool in the early phases of film production, synthetic previsualization ensures compliance to the director's vision while confirming the film's practical feasibility, a process taking place outside of the traditional constraints of the film set. Through an historical and structural context, the text explains how this new form of previsualization, while promoting effective management of existing risks, also contributes in creating new risks by its ability to represent with great visual accuracy the upcoming film.
