This article present a methodologic thought about the use of concept mapping as an evaluation tool of the nature and organisation of diabetic's knowledge, in the context or their education. Concept mapping is realised during interview between a patient and the researcher. Advantages and limits of the methodology used are discussed as well as the analysis criterion. Finally, a reflexion on the evaluation's docimologic qualities is proposed.

Virtual worlds and online games experienced a remarkable increase in popularity in the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on ethnographic research, we discuss the use of Second Life as a space of sociability in contexts of physical distancing in several countries. Focusing on the socio-technical characteristics of this digital environment, as well as on the experiences of its users, we propose that the current appeal of this type of platform can be explained by distinctive elements, including: immersion, avatar embodiment, synchronicity, and persistence.

In this essay, the authors give voice to their process of adapting the French translation of Halfbreed by the nationally and internationally respected Métis author, storytelling, activist and Elder, Maria Campbell, for the audio book published by Prise de parole. With respect to the publisher's mandate of increasing the accessibility of French literature across Canada, a local team was assembled by Maria. We, the authors of this essay, were part of the team as creative director and narrator. Our process centered on ethics of storytelling, relational care, oralité, originality and local and cultural context. We demonstrate these considerations as our responsibility to Maria, the author of her story, the readers, and to our respective connections, experience and knowledge of place.

ABSTRACTThe author proposes a review of three major theoreticians whose works are considered to be the corner-stones of theatrical studies : Aristotle, whose Poetics, the first reflexion on Occidental theatre, also serve as the foundation of the aesthetics of drama, and, closer to us, Antonin Artaud and Bertolt Brecht who, although unanimous in rejecting the Aristotelian theory, have quite different views on contemporary theatre. Their definitions are analyzed in the light of mimesis and catharsis, which are not taken here as separate notions, but rather as a mean of grasping the fluctuant outlines of the concept of "reality", be it Aristotle's obedience to a strict narrative structure, Artaud's denial of culture or Brecht's political commitment.

Dealing with immigrant families in social intervention is often times dealing with intergenerational and integration issues. Based on a research conducted with trios of refugee women in Quebec (consisting of grandmothers, mothers and daughters), this text focuses on the original process flow of knowledge and the building of new practices between these generations of women. Their relationship to autonomy and also to family, work, health or community transforms and shapes itself differently according to the generations and the unfolding events. These intergenerational exchanges are important for the integration of various members coming from immigrant families and it is necessary that social workers have a renewed understanding of them.
