Psychosociological health is an issue of primary importance, notably in projectification. The link between psychosocial health and project management must thus be rethought beyond the traditional models. This article is a theoretical reflection on the little-explored link. To support this reflection, we propose an integration, from a pragmatic view, of the two theoretical domains leading to defining three proposals expressing the reflexive relationship between organizational practices in project management, psychosocial performance and psychosociological health. Project management impacts and a research schedule conclude our contribution.

This article expounds the competencies that are essential for managing artificial intelligence (AI) in organizations, with emphasis on ethics, but also including the issues from a managerial, technical, human, inclusive and responsible point of view. In the context of change associated with digital transformation, organizations that are digitizing, by integrating AI, need to identify the ethical issues and the associated required competencies to manage AI projects. The issues related to the development and management of AI projects are complex and different from those related to traditional IT project management. This complexity raises ethical, legal and social responsibility questions regarding AI, from an equity, diversity and inclusion perspective. These will have implications for the competencies expected of AI project managers in the future. Our research aimed to identify these competency issues and describe them, which is done through interviews and focus groups with experts from the AI community, in the broader context of a research on AI management. This article focuses primarily on the ethical issues emerging from our review of written works and meetings with AI experts, and their resonance in the Quebec AI ecosystem. We therefore here focus on questions of ethics, labour market transformation, governance and social responsibility. This article is organized in seven parts: introduction, issues, literature review, methodology, results, discussion and conclusion. The current challenges of AI in Quebec are given in terms of ethical management of innovative technologies, as well as the transformation of labour markets associated with AI. These key issues were identified in our 25 research interviews and three focus groups. In conclusion is a set of recommendations to promote change while considering ethical issues linked to turning towards AI.

Introduction: Pain management by nurses in the context of a phone help line is a complex task. Continuing education (CE) is a potentially effective strategy to ensure development of this competence. Objective: The main objective of this study was to develop and evaluate a customized pain management CE activity by and for nurses working at a phone help line providing health information. Methods: A three-phase convergent mixed-method design was used: needs and preferred educational strategies assessment, conception of CE activity, evaluation. Based on a participatory approach, the CE activity was developed to meet participants' expectations and needs. It included two components: 1) CE day and 2) individual clinical support. A quasi-experimental study with a single time series was used to evaluate the CE activity regarding participants' knowledge and beliefs about pain management and their perceptions of their pain management activities. Data collection was performed using focus groups and questionnaires. Results: Participants' knowledge about pain management increased after the CE day and remained stable after three months. Also, participants reported an increase in various patient-centered pain management nursing activities. Discussion and conclusion: This study illustrates the importance of involving nurses in designing a CE activity and supports its potential benefits in the context of a phone help line.

After the Covid-19 confinement period, telework and open spaces gained momentum. Six organizations (public, private and in social economy) were studied in the province of Quebec, and 66 semi-structured interviews were carried out between February and October 2023. Adaptations in the articulation between progressive return to open space offices and working from home were observed, and noted was a flexibility in working time and better work-life reconciliation. This study updates past research on work open-spaces, with the increase in telework, showing that the workplace has significantly moved towards employee homes. This has generated a new long-term organisation of family time and space. Consequently, while the family institution has evolved, the workplace becomes a place for socialising.

Social inequalities in health services (SIHS) include several challenges that governments and civil society actors are trying to address. Confronted with the complex situations experienced by the populations that are affected by them, intersectoral and territorial interven-tions are an avenue to be explored. This paper looks at the integrated community care in the Centres intégrés de santé et services sociaux (CISSS) and the Centres intégrés universitaires de santé et services sociaux (CIUSSS), and its contribution to reducing SIHS through a practice that acts on the social determinants of health. Four intersectoral and territorial interventions in Quebec are examined to understand how practitioners are involved in identifying these determinants that contribute to SIHS, and how they act on these determinants. The discussion raises issues of governance of the health and social services network in relation to the disparity of powers and the erosion of public services in general.
