The text presents a psychoanalytic approach of the migratory phenomenon of harragas using data collected from the mothers of young Tunisians who risked their lives to reach Europe. Our paper follows two analytical paths. On the one hand, it attempts to identify the unconscious motives which constitute this form of migration together with the maternal desire and the general mother-son relationship. On the other hand, we return to the disastrous psychic consequences of the clandestine migratory act (collective mourning, family trauma, etc.). These consequences are not only limited to the migrants themselves but affect the whole family and especially mothers.

The upheavals of 1870-71 brought about changes that are reflected in the field of legal, political, historical, military, educational, religious, literary and artistic representations of the colonial relationship. These representations will cohabit in a sometimes-dissonant manner in the colonial mental universe until independence. We evoke here three of them that contributed to the symbolic reformulation of the colonial relationship after 1871: the legal discourse, literature and the school debate.

Nombreuses sont les recherches menées sur la représentation des minorités dans les médias québécois. La plupart s'accordent sur le fait que celles-ci sont sous-représentées par ces médias et que l'image que l'on en projette est bien souvent stéréotypée voire négative. Cette représentation des immigrants ou encore des communautés culturelles dans les médias québécois ne pouvait demeurer sans conséquence sur des récepteurs qui ont la capacité d'être actifs. Dès lors, les chercheurs ont pu constater que les minorités visibles désertaient les médias francophones pour rejoindre les médias anglophones plus enclins à les représenter. Un constat qui nous a amenée à nous questionner sur la consommation des médias par les populations venues d'Algérie, du Maroc, et de la Tunisie. This article argues that “post-COVID-19 tourism” must place the issue of labour conditions and precarious work at the heart of its sustainability model. The crisis presents opportunities to transform work in the tourism sector, but the need for a rapid economic recovery risks putting this issue on the back burner. The propensity of tourism organizations to select the aspects of sustainable development and their social responsibility that are most valuable to the consumer is confirmed in the context of a crisis. Actions toward internal stakeholders, workers, and their organizations appear to be neglected as they involve a profound transformation of their business model and would be less easily valued to the consumer. We identify and discuss four key levers that can be mobilized to improve working conditions in the sector and combat precarious work: development of legal constraints and the normative tightening of social responsibility, promotion of good human resource management practices with the consumer, support for the direct action of the workers concerned and their organization, and mobilization of the tourism education and research sector.

The Salvation Army Foundation's Mouzaïa Emergency Accommodation Center in Paris has been promoting peer work since 2019. This experiment is being developed within the framework of a "Chantier d'insertion" (integration through economic activity), a project enabling people who have experienced certain migrations and its traumatic effects to benefit from social and medico-social support.
