This article is based on a qualitative study of about forty female members of ten cooperatives in Morocco. The author takes a sociological perspective in analyzing how the spirit of solidarity within female cooperatives has declined and shows how the tensions between cooperative spirit and utilitarianism can influence power-sharing. Market pressures lead cooperatives to select leaders who have the cultural, relational, and economic capital that facilitates skill development. The investment these leaders make in the cooperative, as well as their efforts to manage it, tend to legitimize the ways they reinforce their power in the cooperative and serve their own interests rather than those of the collective.

The composition of the diet of the barbel (Luciobarbus callensis) was studied in the K'sob reservoir near the town of M'Sila (Algeria). The capture of the barbels was carried out between September 2010 and August 2011.The diet was studied from 379 specimens collected by trammel net. During the study period, it was noted that the food spectrum essentially consisted of Chironomids, Ephemeroptera and Copepods, which are abundant in the environment. The barbel of the K'sob reservoir has a seasonal food pattern influenced by climatic and ecological conditions and by its reproductive cycle. The diet of L. callensis in the study area is omnivorous, with a zoo-benthophage tendency.

After years of delay to protect the earth from increasing greenhouse gas emissions, the issue of climate change has appeared front and center as a new object of research in the social sciences since the early 2000s. Initial studies, however, have shown that the issue has many challenges, both theoretically and methodologically. The present work conducted from field observations made in Eastern Morocco aims to demonstrate the value of a geographical approach that seeks to focus on the problem of adaptation to climate change in different social and territorial realities.”

Among Jews, over time, funeral orations have been raised to an art form. Upon tracing the origin of such orations, it is in funeral dirges and laments of grief that one must look. This article shows the evolution of funeral orations in the Jewish world, from the Biblical Period to modern times, by focusing particularly on oration content and their listeners. One may notice that these speeches, at one time sung, have continually retained the purpose of honoring the deceased, consoling the bereaved and recalling moralistic rules of conduct.
