Objective The central objective of this paper is to explore the dynamic interactions between 5 sets of variables, which are Sociodemographic Characteristics, Satisfaction with Life, Perceived Discrimination, Religiosity and Emotional Distress within Montreal's Tariqa Qadiriya Boudchichiya, a Muslim Sufi way whose origins are Moroccan and date back to the 18th century.Method As a method, we considered psychological distress as the dependent variable and performed univariate descriptive statistical analyzes, bivariate correlation analyzes (Pearson correlation), one-way ANOVA analyzes, and multivariate analyzes (linear regressions). Results Our results, although preliminary due to a relatively small sample (n = 56), allow us to put forward a new hypothesis suggesting that the intense spiritual practice that characterizes the Tariqa, would allow “a work of the self on self” through a set of “techniques of the self” (Foucault) that contribute to a certain emotional well-being, if not to mental health. Conclusion Our conclusion underlines the importance of investigating more in depth the possible contribution of religiosity to the subject's capacity to act on oneself in order to emerge as a spiritual, ethical and political subject.

Algeria played the role of mediator in the Tuareg conflicts of 1991, 2006 and 2012. The mediator has always managed to lead the parties to a peace agreement. However, it is necessary to note the resurgence of the armed conflict. This stalemate in the conflict raises questions about the willingness and strategies of the parties to regulate their conflict through mediation, but also the effectiveness over the long term of the model and methodological approach of the mediator. This study raised and addressed the following issues: what is the Algerian approach in the mediation of the Malian political conflict? Does this mediation approach work? This study is based on field research conducted mainly in Mali from September 2017 to September 2019 with key figures involved in the peace process. The study shows that regulating Mali's complex conflict requires a transformative mediation that, in addition to the political process, integrates the bottom-up approach. Such a process of mediation must be led by non-state actors, which can depoliticize the conflict and establish effective communication to reach solutions that are acceptable to all communities, including ethnic and religious minorities.

Due to the period of social distancing following the COVID-19 pandemic, in-person classes were replaced by distance learning in order to ensure pedagogical continuity in Morocco. The goal of this study is to assess student satisfaction with their teaching. To do this, we used the technology acceptance theory model. The choice of a quantitative research methodology resulted in the administration of a questionnaire at the end of the course. The results obtained show that a majority of students had a positive perception of the distance teaching.

In the global context of increasing mobility and migration, unaccompanied minors (UM) generally flee precarious and frequently dangerous situations, including organized violence and war. Their plans to leave represent a response to individual and locally-situated experiences, combined with numerous aspirations (personal, familial, communal, etc.) aimed at improving their living conditions. The traumas and forms of victimization experienced by certain UM in their country of origin and when crossing borders illegally can be exacerbated upon their arrival in their destination country, due to restrictive reception policies. In addition, as a result of family separation, the need to adapt immediately to a host environment and the vulnerability associated with the difficulty and uncertainty of having their status as minors recognized, UM are exposed to various risks. In this context of precariousness, vulnerability and risk of exclusion and victimization, the care and protection of UM must occur swiftly and effectively in order to offer them a stable and secure environment and enable them to integrate into the host society.

This article aims to study the social consequences of international subcontracting industrial relations, which, while a source of competitiveness for large companies in developed countries, can lead to indecent working conditions in developing countries, particularly in labor-intensive industries. We are interested in the little-explored question of the nature of the commitment of textile SMEs in Morocco to social responsibility, given the demands of major principals. The results of our quantitative study corroborate the hypothesis of a deterioration in employees' working conditions that accompanies international subcontracting.
