The meta-analysis is becoming more and more popular among researchers as a way of resuming results from multiples studies. This text reviews both conceptual and methodological aspects of this technique. The context used to discuss on meta-analysis is the one of prevention and intervention programs for children. The meta-analysis is presented as a useful tool to find the most effective programs and their success' conditions. This technique has statistical considerations and weaknesses that the reader has to be aware of in order to appreciate its results. A table resume the content and the results of 19 meta-analysis of prevention and intervention studies on externalized and internalized behaviour problems.

In psychoanalytic theory, memory is a complex notion that remains misunderstood. In this essay, memory is apprehended through a new lens. The present study explores the notion of memory in Freud's work, and using a variety of clinical illustrations. We make a distinction between memory and reminiscence and examine the basis of this distinction. We conclude with a discussion on the complex relationship between memory and truth and its consequences for technical and therapeutic aspects of psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy.

In France, psychoanalytical consultation in a BAPU (University Office of Psychological Help) is offered to students coming from all backgrounds. It is well known that the existence of the “Institution” as a third-party in the psychoanalytic cure affords invaluable support for the therapy of difficult patients. But it is essentially the possibility of adaptation of the treatment setting and its corollary, the flexibility of the internal framework of the analyst that will be discussed in this paper. Through the presentation of the clinical journey of a young Chinese woman affected by multiple traumas, the empathic attitude and ability to adapt to the internal world of the patient who guided the work of the analyst will be shown, along with containing function regarding multiple traumatic elements.

How are the manifestations of infantile sexuality perceived today, given the normopathy that affects both the care sector and the family unit ? Building on a clinical concept developed by J. McDougall and relying on his own clinical experience, both in private and institutional settings, the author proposes to address the difficulties of children to exist as such in a societal context of hypernormalization.

Le présent document expose les résultats d’une recherche descriptive portant sur la problématique du retour au travail de travailleurs ayant connu une période d’incapacité causée par des problèmes de santé mentale afin d’identifier quels sont les déterminants pouvant posséder un impact sur le retour au travail réussi chez les travailleurs à temps plein des Forces canadiennes. L’étude porte sur un échantillon de militaires canadiens ayant connu un congé maladie engendré par des problèmes à prépondérance psychologique au cours des années 2003 à 2007 inclusivement, soit depuis l’entrée en vigueur de leur programme de retour au travail. Dans la mouvance de l'art thérapie, plusieurs auteurs affirment que le recours à un médium artistique (peinture, sculpture, théâtre, création média, écriture) favorise, par un détour symbolique, 1a verbalisation des émotions, l'utilisation des ressources intérieures pour la résolution de problèmes et le développement d'une meilleure estime de soi. Ce mémoire présente les résultats d'une expérimentation de l'utilisation du conte créé par des enfants dans le cadre d'une intervention de suivi psychosocial en milieu scolaire.
