Disaffiliation from street gangs is a complex process that follows a long and winding path. This paper presents the psychological dynamic underlying this process, through psychodynamically oriented qualitative research. Three ex-gang members, second-generation Haitian immigrants, agreed to participate in life-story interviews. Our qualitative analysis is based on conceptualization through categorization. A global metaphor helps integrate the three main dimensions of the process that emerged : involvement in interviews, an evolving story, and the psychological steps of passage out of street gangs. These findings support our discussion of innovative interventions that could be used with this specific population.

This article presents the results of a qualitative study on the collaboration and partnership between social service and health professionals who act on behalf of Francophones living in a minority situation in Ontario. The study looks at information gathered from 43 professionals who met in eight discussion groups, to reveal the context that characterizes their practice, the challenges they encounter in trying to forge collaborative links with other professionals working with minority francophone communities, and the factors that facilitate the establishment of partnerships between the different services, responding to the needs of this population. These results revealed that the sense of belonging, confidence, and commitment towards the francophone community, as well as the values of reciprocity and solidarity, are contributing factors to the development of social capital among professionals. However, the lack of mechanisms permitting the consolidation and longevity of these collaborative links was identified as an element limiting the capacity to enhance the social capital among these francophone and bilingual health and social services professionals.

During last years, support actions for SMEs are most important but we observe that these efforts have not every time a positive feedback. One hypothesis could be the lack of adapted support, regarding knowledge and building of relationships. In this paper we propose a complementary approach on the ways that entrepreneurial support should adopt in order to be more efficient. For this, we use the concept of prescription relationship of Hatchuel (2001). This theoretical framework allows designing open continuum of the support, on which knowledge and relationships are built. On the one hand, it considers the specificity of change situations, encountered by the entrepreneur leader of SMEs, and on the other hand his needs (adaptation, projection, problems solving, problematization …).Following this, we study a special case of support program : « France Investissement. LeClub » which targets high potential SMEs.The research leads to demonstrate that the unilateral relationship of expert can be replaced by a relationship of moderator, translator and catalyzer of learning, within networks for example. In this way, this paper proposes an innovative view of support's job and encourages support actors to adopt a widened vision of their job.
