We are ashamed of ourselves, in proportion to the shock of February 24. Four million people, mostly women and children, have fled the mortal danger and are experiencing the agony of exile. Six million more Ukrainians had to abandon their homes for a less threatened part of the country. Russia has won: the destroyed Ukraine has lost its sovereignty, the time of zones of influence and military pacts has returned. The new Cold War will be mediated by the Asian powers, while the misguided supporters of Putin's Russia will have to swallow their criminal ineptitudes.

AbstractThis article examine so called “ elective affinities ” which bind in our opinion the “ organic model ” of German morphology (shared by Goethe and German romantics, Klassik and Romantik) to some fundamental concepts of Russian formalism and structuralism (from the Opoïaz circle to R. Jakobson's linguistics and poetics). The organic model, an epistemological metaphor created by the German philosophical idealism (Naturphilosophie) can be defined in the organical tradition as a passage from any form to the structure by means of functional charge assured by organs. We will try to show the same organic analogon in the base of Russian formalist and structuralist thought.
