According to contemporary observers, in the years from 1576 to 1579 Henry III brought together groups of orators-men and women, poets and courtiers-to discuss questions of moral philosophy. This happened both in Paris, and in provincial towns such as Blois and Ollainville. Several of the speeches given by these diverse orators remain extant. Among the spectators was Marguerite de Valois, who ordered the transcription of thirteen speeches that were pronounced during the January-February period of 1576. This album, preserved in a beautifully-bound manuscript, provides an interesting testimony to the intellectual curiosity of Marguerite and to the abiding interest of the king and his court in the domain of eloquence. The present article describes the context in which Marguerite de Valois participated in the first sessions of the Palace Academy, and presents the manuscript volume containing several, palpable traces of her reading of the texts. It also evaluates the contribution of some poets from Marguerite's entourage, such as Ronsard, Desportes, Baïf and Jamyn, and examines aspects of their philosophical debates as well as their oratorical skills.

The novel Autobiographie d'une Courgette (Gilles Paris, 2002) was adapted for the cinema by Claude Barras in 2016 in a serial animated film entitled Ma vie de Courgette. Through a cross-analysis of archival documents relating to the film's development, this article looks at the genesis of Ma vie de Courgette. It proposes to understand the motivations underlying the narrative and formal transformations that took place throughout the adaptation process, through the lens of the family film genre. The media transposition from novel to film was accompanied by a gradual shift in categorical identity - from the category of cultural object for (young) adults to that of cultural object for families - which contributed to configuring the visual and narrative content of Barras' film. The aim of this article is to show that the film's mode of address results from a constructed knowledge - based in particular on other productions in the animated feature film category - and subjective knowledge - determined by the background and references of the people involved in the film's development - of the expectations and tastes of the target audience.

The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted governance issues within healthcare organizations in Quebec (Canada). It also speeded up the adoption of collaborative governance models, integrating healthcare professionals and patients into the decision-making process. This exploratory qualitative case study, based on semi-structured interviews (n=8), aimed to: 1. define what collaborative governance was or still is during and after the COVID-19 pandemic in a healthcare institution in Quebec; and 2. understand the types of initiatives and issues that facilitate or limit the implementation and sustainability of collaborative governance. This study follows a first wave of interviews (n=12) conducted in 2020 for a related project that allowed a better understanding of the collaborative governance response to the COVID-19 crisis by healthcare organizations (Gabet et al., 2023). It emphasizes the importance of strong leadership and intersectoral collaboration, while warning of a potential drift toward practices that could undermine its original objective. It seems necessary to clarify and share the meaning of this collaborative governance to ensure that it remains well-suited to the needs of the healthcare staffs and the communities.
