Freely adapted from the novel Perfect Blue: Complete Metamorphosis (Takeuchi, 1991), Perfect Blue (Kon, 1997) is an animated film that tells the story of Mima, a young singer and J-pop idol, who leaves her group to pursue an acting career. When the novelist's decision to adapt his book into a live-action film failed, the director and screenwriter decided to modify the original story to create an animated film exploring the confusion between reality, fiction and hallucination. Far from the novel , the film is full of reflexivity. It depicts the creation of a fictional series within the first diegesis, and is distinguished by its aesthetic, where animation recreates the visual codes of live-action cinema. Visually made up of animated drawings for the spectator of Perfect Blue, the series within the film is live action for the characters and diegetic spectators. By the depiction, in this series, of an unbearable rape scene, that should be inconsequential because its fictional nature seems intensified by its drawn nature, Perfect Blue questions the porosity of boundaries between fiction and reality within cinematic images. Far from causing some detachment of the spectator of Perfect Blue, this questioning of cinema's relationship to fiction, dreams and reality strengthens its realism and the empathy it can arouse. This paper aims to examine what mechanisms are used in the adaptation process of Perfect Blue during the translation from the written words to the screen, to accentuate its realism thanks to its animated nature.

The secular liberal state based on rationalised law postulatesthe possibility of separating politics from a so-called religious domain, with which it would break in every respect. While the liberal state mayregulate the external aspect of religion, it remains the case that the statecontinues to deal with sacred things, to name them, and even to maintainthem in various ways. In this sense, the sacred extends beyond the religiousas understood by the categories of state law. Moreover, the contemporaryliberal state makes itself sacred by various means. This is why it is on theverge of the sacred, whether it be the religious sacred that it imbues itselfwith, or a civic sacred that may predate the emergence of Christianity, themanifestations of which can be seen in the law itself, institutional rituals, the intangibility attributed to state borders, and even the institution ofpolitical representation, the 'totemic' significance of which has beenemphasised by sociology and legal theory.

The supervision interview remains a complex moment requiring, among other things, the supervisor to consider elements of singularity that emerge from the context or the student. This contribution focuses on how the supervisor uses these elements to regulate their support and construct their evaluative judgement at the end of the interview. This study, anchored in the initial training of teachers in French-speaking Belgium, has a dual objective: on the one hand, to document the supervisor’s evaluative activity during this interview, and on the other, to support reflection, in a context of reform, on the methods of organizing, supporting, and evaluating internships. We are attempting to answer the following research questions: How does the supervisor deal with elements of singularity linked to the internship context? How do these elements of singularity contribute to the construction of evaluative adjustments in the service of the final evaluative judgement? We have opted for a single case study (Dumez, 2013 ; Merriam, 1988) based on a qualitative approach with a comprehensive and interpretative aim. The content analysis shows how an element of singularity evoked by the student during the two supervision interviews is mobilized by each supervisor to produce an adjustment in the service of the final evaluative judgment.

This article documents the process of voluntary professional reconversion to the profession of primary school teacher in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation (Belgium). Using a qualitative research approach, we interviewed nine adults who attended an initial teacher education program for primary school teaching. Results show a close link between the identity tensions resulting from the previous or current career(s) and the identity project of becoming a primary school teacher. They also highlight the skills previously acquired in the private and professional spheres that contribute to a positive feeling of self-efficacy in the tasks specific to the desired profession. Finally, we provide practical recommendations for teacher education curriculum and the integration of these second-career teachers in the teaching profession.

This article explores the benefits of a knowledge mobilization network (KMN) on equity aimed at countering systemic barriers to learning for Ontario students. The impact of this KMN was initially analyzed quantitatively, leaving less room for the perception of the partners. Aiming for a more comprehensive picture, a qualitative analysis of ten interviews with partners helped to identify new impacts, especially the importance of relationships as a driving force of the network and as a central benefit of knowledge mobilization. This paper highlights the contribution of qualitative evaluation to assess the impact of KMN. Recommendations are made to promote qualitative evaluation and the impact of KMN in a context of diversity.

Although interest in children's digital culture in early childhood education is on the rise, research has so far paid limited attention to their digital culture in informal contexts. Our research question is as follows: what are the social and digital literacy implications of children's informal activity in digital games? Drawing inspiration from socio-material theorization as well as Rogoff's work (2014), we explore the social activity of creation within virtual environments. In our case study, we identify two main dimensions: resources for creating digital objects and the social status of digital objects. The interaction between the material and virtual world reveals the richness of dialogues between actors and objects, both inside and outside of games, suggesting new modes of play and engagement with reality.

This article presents the results of a research project with a teaching team wanting to move away from grade-based assessment. The results shed light on the process followed by the school to develop an assessment approach consistent with assessment, integrating the two functions promoted in Quebec: assessment for learning and evaluation. The main conclusions emphasize the quality of the teaching team's collaboration and the importance of a shared vision, in this case a humanistic perspective on learning. In addition, the implementation of practices focused on cooperative learning, student engagement and communication strategies with parents are found to be essential for the success of the project. Finally, some questions remain, such as the issue of report card results as a factor in access to support for students with learning difficulties.

In recent years, there has been a narrowing of freedom of expression in Western societies as a result of health measures and benevolent discourses by universities. In this context, the cardinal values of social work are challenged: congruence, authenticity and reflection on the plurality of views of critical thinking. Three postures emerge within the faculty: 1) a total adherence to the unique thought by wearing the mask of authenticity and that of critical thinking; 2) an attitude assumed against the unique thought by teaching without masks the plurality of points of view and the authentic bond; 3) a posture oscillating between the first two. In conclusion, the author defends a work of reliance rooted in introspection, reflection and critical thinking that promotes the maintenance of authentic and congruent links with the recipients of interventions.
