In 1988, some Tunisian firms, essentially in reaction with the environmental regulation, have instituted environmental initiatives. The objective of this research is to classify the Tunisian managers based on their environmental commitment. In a sample of 55 firms, the results show the existence of three groups based on environmental commitment; reactive, conformist and citizen managers. Firm size had a major impact on the environmental commitment. But no relationship was found between environmental commitment and activity sector.

AbstractAntoine Berman's concept of “the trial of the foreign” has proven particularly useful in elucidating and accounting for postcolonial translation practice. African European-language writing is characterized by the practice of vernacularization and literary diglossia as a writing strategy in what is generally an intercultural communication context. This raises questions of identity and ideology with respect to the use of colonial languages, as well as issues of power relations between the center and the periphery. The strategy of deterritorializing and reterritorializing often used by postcolonial writers as an attempt to reappropriate the colonial language and thus claim their own space is an example of what Berman refers to as  “writing as translation”. This style of writing, heavily grounded in ideological as well as sociocultural considerations, raises some serious questions about translation choices which can only be addressed through a sound and comprehensive ethics of translation. Postmodern theories can help us define an ethics framework for translation which will allow us to move away from the binary opposition, or the dichotomy, of foreignist versus domesticating translation that has been at the basis of much theorizing in translation studies.

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is gaining ground in Canada, as revealed by the subject of multinational corporations in the extractive sector. In November 2014, Ottawa introduced Canada's Enhanced Corporate Social Responsibility Strategy to Strengthen Canada's Extractive Sector Abroad. Although the legal framework seems quite lax at the present time, several recent reforms have clearly aimed to give CSR a more substantial place in the economic sphere. Similarly, Canadian jurisprudence also appears to be moving the boundaries by imposing a greater liability on parent companies, whilst facilitating access to judicial action for the victims. Ultimately, Canadian business law is in a regulatory continuum characterized by a series of changes, of variable normative value, that expand multinational corporations' responsibility.

This article presents the results of a survey of the data base searching abilities of first-year education students. The methodology used was two-fold: a qualitative approach based on the direct observation of the students and a quantitative approach using a questionnaire. A total of 24 students participated in this project. The results indicate that the students experienced difficulties in the first stage of the research process, namely the definition of the information need. Therefore, it becomes apparent to improve their ability to define the topic to be researched.

While innovation is considered a key driver of SMEs' competitiveness, there is little research on how SMEs remain innovative. This article aims to fill this gap by considering the role of dynamic capabilities in this process. To answer this question, we use an original approach based on the in-depth study of a case of failure to maintain innovation performance in an SME. The results obtained help to explain the decline of the SME innovation by the absence of certain dynamic capabilities. They shed new light on the relationship between dynamic capabilities and innovation capacity and highlight the influence of dynamic capabilities and their micro-foundations on the innovation capacity, while taking into account the specificities of SMEs.
