Disruptive strategies aim at redefining rules of the game within a given industry. Previous researches conducted in this area are mainly focused on the conditions of emergence of this strategy. Our research adopts another point of view by considering the disruptive strategy as an element of competitive interactions dynamics. Thus, we study the disruptive strategy in terms of volume, speed and heterogeneity of its competitive actions. Three research propositions are built from the literature and discussed within the case of French movie theatres sector.

This article based on a study conducted with trainees in the Swiss retail sector examines how they cope with the demands and constraints of the industry. The strategies employed to deal with arduous working conditions are outlined. With respect to the concept of coping, three main strategies were gleaned from the data: resistance, passivity and autonomy. Identifying the strategies used by trainees to cope with difficult working and training conditions provides insight into how trainees develop and strengthen their relationship with the occupation.

SummaryLearning strategies is a concept frequently associated with learning in school contexts. However, a generalisation of this concept to describe various types of behaviours related to learning has produced some confusion and a lack of consistency in its application. In order to promote a more standard use of the term, a new definition is proposed after placing the concept in its original context. A new taxonomy is then described which classifies learning strategies in three different domains : metacognitive strategies, cognitive processing strategies, and cognitive executive strategies.

ABSTRACTEvolutionary game theory does not take into account reasoning players, in contrast with classical game theory. Can it overcome some drawbacks of classical theory (impossibility of cooperation)? If we reconsider the backward induction reasoning, and if introduce the possibility of revising, paradoxes and drawbacks disappear. So the main interest of evolutionary game theoiy consists in the simulation of evolution of interactions among populations.
