The use of images in history classes is becoming increasingly important despite the many problems related to the reading and understanding of these images. Gervereau (2004) offers a multidisciplinary reading grid of images so that teachers can use it according to their goals. The use of this grid should allow students to acquire the skills necessary to decrypt images in history in order to be critical of contemporary images. This article proposes an analysis of the sequences available on the site Edubase History Geography, for a secondary level four course studying the chapter "Revolution, freedoms, nations at the dawn of the contemporary era". Through Gervereau's grid, particular skills developed in secondary four level classes emerge.

A considerable number of 17th century plays are “framed” by various paratheatrical ornaments such as prologues, epilogues, intermèdes and choruses. Although seldom performed, they are in fact clues left by the author which give information about the principal work. By analysing the function of paratheatrical “frames” in George Dandin and Cadmus et Hermione, this article aims to illustrate how these ornaments can help us better understand not only the ideas of a play, but also its style.

This article presents a decade of public health action in France led by the Institut de promotion de la prévention secondaire en addictologie (IPPSA) among national education care personnel to diffuse a strategy associating identification by the DEP-ADO and brief motivational interventions for adolescents in school. This initiative is composed of a series of action-oriented research on adapting the French context to two strategies: (1) training in identification and interventions in secondary schools and (2) an association between primary care practitioners (basically school nurses) and specialized entities (young consumer consultations). The results demonstrate the interest of the persons trained and the general acceptability for the youth, but remain limited in terms of long term effect. The discussion covers the need to maintain mobilization of primary care for the identification, intervention and orientation.

In the framework of the national program for the mapping of natural and semi-natural vegetation (CarHAB) and in the framework of CBNC on knowledge of vegetation, research is being carried out in Corsica to refine knowledge on the state and dynamic evolution of vegetation, to improve the analysis and monitoring of the state of conservation of Community interest habitats to satisfy the request of the Flora and Fauna Habitats Directive (FFHD), in order to better assess the impact of major development projects and to analyze ecological continuities. A hierarchical partition of the commune of Lama (Haute-Corse) was developed to relate land-use planning projects with vegetation dynamics. This partition is based on the typological and mapping definitions of physical and phytoecological models of Corsica correlated with the use patterns (human activities and landscaping, agrosylvopastoralism, urbanism ...). This approach has made it possible to define and prioritize the sectors with conservation challenges of the municipality but also to develop decision-making tools for territorial planning, in particular for the preparation of the future Local Planning Plan.
