The author has gathered together, for the use of geographers, the principal physics equations used to calculate the energy or thermal balance from temperature and humidity gradients near ground level. In addition, he uses the notion of "balance" to explain the aspirated psychrometer theory, variations in evaporation and the comparison between potential evapotranspiration and real evapotranspiration.

Participatory research has been developed since the 1980s in agriculture. What are its performances and limits in the agricultural condition of countries of the South? This study proposes an evaluation grid for the characteristics and performances of 12 Cameroonian participatory action research projects in partnership. It shows that these approaches increase taking account of farmers' expectations and actors' competences. It also shows that asymmetries between researchers and farmers, requirements of the different steps of the process, and the necessity to work on long time space limit performances.

The purpose of this paper is to locate theories surrounding the concept of “consubstantialité des rapports sociaux” (co-substantiality of social relations or CSSR) (Kergoat, on 1978-2012) within current tensions in feminist thought on intersectionality. Noting the persistent oppositions that mark the intersectionality literature, this article shows how the notion of CSSR, by virture of its contextual origins, distinguishes itself from other existing theoretical frameworks. On the one hand, this concept interprets the interlocking of different systems of oppressions from a dynamic understanding of power relations. On the other hand, the materialist feminist's interpretations of gender relations propose to rework key Marxian contributions, which stands in opposition to the culturalist rejection of the Marxian legacy. Finally, this contribution highlights the sociological relevance of this concept in order to understand the dynamic relations between power social relations.
