    More information

This paper offers to analyze contemporary dramas summoning and evoking the motif of the water – an element that shapes our imagination owing to its structuring function in our societies as much historically and economically as symbolically. From the environmental tale to the landscape drama, notably, in what ways is water represented? What does water put to the test in the drama and for the drama? At the crossroads between poetic, eco-poetic and poietic approaches, this crossing of the writings initiates a reflection on the writings of the crossing. How porous are water dramas (in the theatrical sense) or how do they respond to the water dramas (in the political sense) and particularly to the sea dramas, as soon as they merge with dramas of exile, departure or migration?
