Biographical notice

Adelene Buckland is a Postdoctoral Research Associate of the Cambridge Victorian Studies Group, and a bye-fellow of Newnham College, Cambridge. She has recently been elected to the post of Lecturer in Literature at the University of East Anglia, to begin in September 2009. She has published several articles and essay reviews, and is currently editing a collection of essays on ‘Victorian Epic’ for Journal of Victorian Culture. She is working on a book provisionally entitled Novel Science: Fiction and the Geological Imagination.
