Résumé
Le changement de statut de son territoire avec la loi du 19 mars 1946 n’entraîne pas la fin de l’île-entreprise en Guadeloupe : jusqu’aux aux années 1980, elle reste sous l’emprise de l’industrie sucrière imposée comme seul outil de son développement économique. Comment s’explique cette longévité ? Quels en sont les acteurs et sur quels réseaux s’appuient-ils ? C’est l’objet de cet article.

Abstract
The change in status of its territory with the law of March 19, 1946 does not lead to the end of the business island in Guadeloupe: Until the 1980s, it remained under the influence of the sugar industry imposed as the only one. tool of its economic development.
