Résumé
Les ensembles Sound of Montréal et Extrakte, respectivement basés à Montréal et à Berlin, rassemblent des musiciens et musiciennes dont les traditions musicales s’inscrivent dans la diversité, à l’image des communautés culturelles présentes dans les deux métropoles. Dans le cadre de ce projet conjoint de recherche-création initié par Sandeep Bhagwati, des entretiens ont été réalisés par Deniza Popova et Julie Delisle afin de dresser un portrait des musiciens ainsi que des dynamiques et des interactions personnelles et musicales à l’oeuvre dans ce contexte de création musicale particulier.

Abstract
The ensembles Sound of Montreal and Extrakte, respectively based in Montreal and in Berlin, bring together musicians from several musical traditions, reflecting the cultural diversity present in both cities. In this joint research-creation project initiated by Sandeep Bhagwati, interviews have been realized by Deniza Popova and Julie Delisle in order to provide a portrait of the ensembles’ musicians and of the dynamics and interactions, both personal and musical, among participants in this particular context of musical creation.
