Dans ce texte de présentation, on s’interrogera sur la capacité de la sociologie de la littérature de saisir son objet, et sur cet objet même. Dans une mise en perspective des questions qu’aborde la sociologie de la littérature, on montrera en quoi ces recherches trouvent place dans le champ de la sociologie.

Summary

In this preamble, we address both the capacity of the sociology of literature to grasp its object and the object itself. By putting into perspective the questions that the sociology of literature deals with, we will show how such research finds its place within the field of sociology.
