Trois solutions sont examinées quant au degré d’inter-action qu’elles imposent aux bibliothèques, pour aboutir à la conclusion qu’une rationalisation du patrimoine bibliographique, dirigée par l’État, est inéluctable. AB - Information science specialists are aware that the individualism of libraries harms the bibliographical services to which the citizens are entitled. The time lag between the production of the information and its acquisition is underlined. Three solutions are examined to determine the degree of interaction that they demand of libraries, only to arrive at the conclusion that a rationalization of the bibliographic inheritance directed by the state is unavoidable.
