The results of a readership survey of Documentation et bibliothèques are presented and briefly commented. The questions are organised within four categories: 1. Receptivity and use of the journal; 2. Content; 3. Presentation; 4. Reader profile. The results are presented category by category and are accompanied by numerous graphs.
Using interlibrary loan as a base, the author presents a model enabling the pooling of library resources in Canada. Keeping the regional, provincial and territorial library networks in mind, she highlights the components and trends. Then she proposes, using the present situation, the parts of a short and long term plans that could be used to build the infrastructure of a Pan-Canadian library network.
