Biographical note
Victoria C. Roskams is a DPhil candidate at Mansfield College, University of Oxford. Her thesis explores the representation of composers in nineteenth-century British novels. She employs an understanding of music both as an aesthetic force within the novel and a context interacting with the production of the novel.
