Biographical note
Concetta Principe is a scholar currently focusing on mad studies and Lacanian thought and a professor of Writing Studies, Creative Writing, and Literature at Trent University, Durham. She is co-editor with Molly Wallace of From Cogito to Covid: The Truth of Lacan’s Truth in “Science and Truth” with Palgrave Macmillan, which includes her chapter, “The Truth of Lacan’s Name of the Father: A Reconsideration of the ‘truth’ in “Science and Truth.” Forthcoming is her article, “Messianic Remnants and Beasts of the Southern Wild” in Embodied Testimonies, Gendered Memories, and the Poetics of Trauma: Exploring the Intersection of Deconstructionist and Postcolonial Trauma Theory (eds. Rachel Dale and Maryam Ghodrati), Vernon Press. Her recent creative project, Discipline: A Lyric Memoir, came out with Palimpsest Press.
