Biographical note
Isaac Thornley is a PhD candidate in the Faculty of Environmental and Urban Change at York University. His research draws on political ecology and psychoanalytic Marxist theories of ideology to analyze contemporary political conflicts surrounding fossil fuel pipelines in Canada (in particular, the Trans Mountain Pipeline Expansion project).
