Biographical note
Clint Burnham was born in Comox, British Columbia, on the unceded traditional territory of the K’ómoks (Satlhoot) First Nation, centred historically on kwaniwsam; he is Professor of English at Simon Fraser University. Recent academic writing often treats the Covid-19 pandemic alongside psychoanalysis, racist violence, and climate disasterism, and includes essays in Psychoanalysis, Politics, Oppression and Resistance: Lacanian Perspectives (Routledge, 2022), Understanding Žižek, Understanding Modernism (Bloomsbury 2023); Global Pandemics and Epistemic Crises in Psychology (Routledge 2021); and forthcoming in symplokē.
