Note biographique
Titulaire d’une maîtrise en études des arts (UQÀM), Mona HAKIM est historienne et critique d’art. Ses écrits paraissent dans des catalogues et opuscules d’expositions, monographies d’artistes et revues spécialisées. À titre de commissaire, elle a réalisé une quinzaine d’expositions solos et collectives, ici et à l’étranger. Elle enseigne l’histoire de l’art et l’histoire de la photographie au Cégep André-Laurendeau à Montréal.

Biographical note
Mona HAKIM holds a Master’s degree in Art History (UQAM), and is an art historian and critic. Her writing has appeared in catalogues and exhibition flyers, artist monographs and specialized magazines. As a curator, she has put together some fifteen solo and group exhibitions both here and overseas. She teaches art history and the history of photography at Cégep André-Laurendeau in Montreal.
