Note biographique
Josianne POIRIER vit et travaille à Montréal. Candidate au doctorat en histoire de l’art de l’Université de Montréal, elle détient un baccalauréat en histoire de l’art de l’Université du Québec à Montréal et une maîtrise en études urbaines de l’Institut national de la recherche scientifique. Elle s’intéresse à la relation entre l’art, la culture et l’espace urbain, privilégiant des thématiques telles que les quartiers culturels, l’art public et l’image des villes.

Biographical note
Josianne POIRIER lives and works in Montreal. A doctoral candidate in art history at Université de Montréal, she holds a BA in art history and an MA in urban studies from the Institut national de la recherche scientifique. She is interested in the relation between art, culture and urban space as viewed through themes such as cultural neighbourhoods, public art and the image of the city.
