Note biographique
André-Louis PARÉ enseigne la philosophie au Cégep André-Laurendeau. À titre de critique et théoricien de l’art, il collabore à diverses revues québécoises se consacrant à l’art contemporain. Il est l’auteur de plusieurs opuscules et textes de catalogue et membre du comité de rédaction de la revue Espace depuis 1994. Pour cette revue, il a coordonné plusieurs dossiers thématiques. Il a cosigné le commissariat de la troisième édition de la Manif d’art (Québec, 2005) ainsi que l’exposition Québec Gold qui eut lieu à Reims (France) en 2008. La même année, il sera commissaire de l’exposition Hors de moi / Beside Myself, consacrée à l’oeuvre de Daniel Olson. Présentée à Expression (Saint-Hyacinthe), cette exposition a été reprise à la Maison de la culture Côte-des-Neiges au printemps 2011. Il vit et travaille à Montréal.

Biographical note
André-Louis PARÉ teaches philosophy at Cégep André-Laurendeau in Montréal. As a critic and art theoretician, he writes for various Quebec contemporary art magazines and is the author of numerous texts for catalogues and opuscules. He has been a member of the editorial board of Espace since 1994, and has supervised many special topic issues for the magazine. He was co-curator of the third edition of the Manif d’art, Québec, 2005 as well as the exhibition Québec Gold that was held in Rheims, France, in 2008. The same year, he was curator of the exhibition Hors de moi / Beside Myself, devoted to the work of Daniel Olson. Presented at Expression in Saint-Hyacinthe, this exhibition was shown at Maison de la culture Côte-des-Neiges in the spring of 2011. André-Louis Paré lives and works in Montreal.
