Note biographique
Fanny Curtat a complété une maîtrise en histoire de l’art (obtenue avec mention d’excellence) à l’Université du Québec à Montréal en 2012. Elle poursuit actuellement ses recherches, dans cette même université, dans le cadre d’un doctorat soutenu par du financement de la part du Conseil de recherches en sciences humaines du Canada. Ses recherches se concentrent sur la présence et la perception du sacré, sous diverses formes, dans l’art actuel. À travers une approche théorique et philosophique des oeuvres d’art, elle explore la pertinence et l’actualisation de cette sacralité sauvage.

Biographical note
Fanny Curtat completed a M.A. in Art History (with distinction) at Université du Québec à Montréal in 2012. She is currently carrying out research, at the same university, in the context of a doctorate funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. Her research focuses on the presence and perception of various forms of the sacred in contemporary art. Through a theoretical and philosophical approach to artworks, she explores the pertinence and contemporary renewal of this primal sacredness.
