Note biographique
Jeremy Gafas est né à Genève, en 1990, où il a étudié l’histoire de l’art ainsi que la philosophie analytique à l’Université de Genève. En 2016, il finit une maîtrise d’histoire de l’art contemporain avec un mémoire portant sur l’opposition entre contrainte et indifférence de la figure humaine chez des artistes tels que Michaël Borremans et Markus Schinwald. Il s’intéresse notamment aux marionnettes et aux questions liées à l’hybridité dans les arts plastiques et scéniques.

Biographical note
Jeremy Gafas was born in Geneva in 1990, where he studied art history and analytical philosophy at the Université de Genève. In 2016, he completed a master’s degree in contemporary art history, with a thesis on the opposition between constraint and indifference in the human figure in the work of Michaël Borremans and Markus Schinwald. His research interests include puppetry and issues relating to hybridity in the visual and stage arts.
