Laurent VERNET est doctorant en études urbaines au Centre Urbanisation Culture Société de l’Institut national de la recherche scientifique. Ses recherches portent sur la vie sociale des oeuvres d’art dans les espaces publics montréalais. Depuis 2009, il est agent de développement culturel au Bureau d’art public de la Ville de Montréal.

Biographical note
Laurent VERNET is a doctoral candidate in urban studies at the Centre Urbanisation Culture Société of the Institut national de la recherche scientifique. His research concerns the social issues of art works in Montreal’s public spaces. Since 2009, he has been a cultural development agent at the Bureau d’art public of the City of Montreal.
