Hall (The Silent Language) .
Abstract
In this paper, the teaching of scenario focuses on the process of organizing and structuring scenarios. The fundamentals of this approach derive from the concepts proposed by the Ainerican anthropologist E.T. Hall in his book The Silent Language. This paper establishes a parallel between Hall's model of organization of a cultural group and the organization of scenarios. This is followed by an illustration of this parallel, through a segment of Joseph Mankiewicz's film All About Eve (1950). Lastly the paper explores the influence of various cinematographic practices on the organization of scenarios.
