Abstract
Borrowing from the anti-oppression education theory, this paper examines inclusion programs in three Saskatchewan Francophone school communities. Interviews were conducted with three school principals to assess their perspectives on a changing student population. Using a critical framework, the transcriptions are analysed both at the level of discourse and anti-oppression education categories. Following a description of the inclusion initiatives taken by participating schools and the subsequent interviews conducted by the researcher, the paper proposes ways to further develop current programs by focusing on critical pedagogies.
