Abstract
This text proposes an interweaving of hypotheses on multi-faceted and unconscious fear. Outdated fears of anomy and vanishing, heightened by monotony’s steamroller well ideologized, well camouflaged by world society. These fears can be shown through the extended claim for recognition of identities and novelties. A paradoxical relationship thereupon established itself to the Other, at the same time assumedly deified and implemented in behaviors. Within this setting, identity becomes more a comparison of legitimizing identicals than an opening to what deeply moves and “transforms”. This relation to otherness may be thus interpreted in the stirring and complex notions of archetypal otherness, namely death in our cultures.
