Abstract
This text takes the measure of the emerging thematic tendencies in urban environmental history in Quebec. After drawing up an account of historical work that has incorporated environmental stakes into its analyses, it proposes several paths of reflection on the way in which urban history could pursue and explore an environmental approach, that is to say, a framework of analysis taking urban sites and situations and their characteristics into account while examining the interrelations between social, built, and natural space.
