Résumé
L’unité, un particularisme de l’entreprise familiale, nous intéresse pour la logique émotionnelle qu’elle recèle. Dans un but de compréhension de la valeur en contexte familial, nous étudions un phénomène complexe, celui du risque de rupture de l’intégrité d'un groupe. L’entrisme de LVMH au capital d’Hermès a eu pour conséquence un renforcement de la défense de l’unité familiale d’Hermès. La menace d’une prise de contrôle rampante a élevé l’unité au rang de priorité. Sa préservation détruit certes de la valeur financière mais pérennise le modèle et met en évidence l'impact de la valeur socio-émotionnelle.

Abstract
We are interested by emotional characteristic of unity, a particularity of the family business. With a goal of understanding the concept of value in family context, we study a complex phenomenon, that of the risk of rupture of the integrity of a group. LVMH raid in the capital of Hermes led to a strengthening of the defense of the family unit of Hermes. The threat of a creeping takeover has elevated the unit to a priority. Its preservation destroyed while in the financial value but perpetuates the model and highlights the impact of the socioemotional value.

Resumen
Estamos interesados por la unidad y su lógica emocional, una particularidad de la empresa familiar. Con el objetivo de comprender el valor en el contexto familiar, estudiamos un fenómeno complejo, el del riesgo de ruptura de la integridad de un grupo. La infiltración de LVMH en el capital de Hermès tuvo como consecuencia un refuerzo de la defensa de la unidad familiar de Hermès. La amenaza de una toma de control rampante hizo que la unidad ascienda al rango de prioridad. Su preservación destruye algo de valor financiero, pero perpetua el modelo y llama la atención sobre el impacto del valor socio emocional.
